Strategies to Support Safe Sleep Environments in Early Childhood Education Programs webinar

The National Center on Early Childhood Health and Wellness (NCECHW) invites Child Care Health Consultants (CCHCs) to register for our series of ongoing webinars to support child care health consultation in all early childhood education (ECE) programs.
Dr. Rachel Moon, national pediatric expert and researcher on Safe Sleep, will explore current research and updated recommendations on safe sleep environments. We will explore how consultants can strengthen program’s policies and understanding of safe sleep.
The Participant will:
• Understand the current recommendations, science and research about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID)
• Identify how to communicate safe sleep practices in ECE program policies.
• Identify resources to support ECE programs to understand best practices in safe sleep environments, including the 2016 updates to safe infant sleeping environments.
